The story starts when Akshay was working as chef in Hongkong, when his friend told him to try his luck in Bollywood because of his smart persona and Marshall Arts quality. So the Toilet Star flew from Hongkong to Mumbai. Akshay had to face many problems during the initial stage, he had to visit from Studio to studio and face failure at the end. In these struggling days, Akshay got a modelling assignment which was going to held in Banglore but his fate was not good and missed his flight. Later on Akshay’s friend told him to create his portfolio,so he decided to make one and reached the famous photographer Jayesh Seth.But the brilliant photographer denied to make Akshay’s portfolio inspite of high fees. Jayesh kept a condition that Akshay has to work under him as his assistant. After struggle and unpaid job for 18 months, Jay made portfolio of Akshay Kumar and introduced him to a producer named Pramod Chakravarti. Pramod was working on a film called Deedar and was searching for a new face, after the recommendation from the photographer Jay Sheth, Akshay on initial gave couple of flops. Later, after release of Khiladi the star never saw back and did his best to achieve this landmark.
